Location:	Ocean Bluffs, Marshfield, MA
Project File:	A new house on an pre-existing footprint in an oceanfront cottage community, this design is meant to indistinguishable from a cottage built 100 years ago and fit into the neighborhood. Yet inside, the house reflects all the comforts of modern living.

The second strory is kept to cottage scale by setting the roof plane on a 4 1/2' kneewall the rasing the rest of the roof with dormers.

In the rear of the house, a small balcony with french doors brings an ocean view to the master bedroom.

An intimate master bedroom with a distant ocean view.

The spaciousness of the living area belies the small scale of the house.

Even a small kitchen can be well appointed.

A small eating area doubles as a breakfast & dining area.
