This oceanfront victorian had a flat roof bunker-like
poolhouse that need to be replaced, along with the pool
which was 50 years old. The new poolhouse had to have a
minimally low roofline to comply with local zoning
ordinances and to prevent blocking anyone's ocean view.
The roof was done in open beam style, with pickled beams
and pastel T&G planking for a light summery casual feel.
